Mulan has officially joined Disneys slate of big-budget reboots and fans are absolutely loving the new trailer.
Just over a minute long, the teaser trailer features Liu Yifei taking on Disneys iconic warrior and shes not taking any prisoners with Mulan getting to work with preparation for battle.
Her mother says: The matchmaker has found you an auspicious match, to which Mulan promises: Yes, I will bring honour to us all.
She adds: It is my duty to fight.
Clearly no expense was spared on the reboot with the trailer teasing sweeping scenes of war training, sword practice and large armies charging towards each other on horseback.
Disney fans have given the trailer a huge thumbs up with many applauding the Asian representation that Mulan brings to the studios princess line-up.
One fan clapped: I dont think yall understand how important mulan is to me she was the only asian disney princess i grew up with, shes such a huge inspiration to me and the fact that were finally getting a live action after it has been postponed so many times.

Another compared the Mulan poster to that of Star Wars with Daisy Ridley as Rey, stating: Rey and mulan being strong and fierce female characters for young girls is so important.
But noting the absence of the music heard in the original animation, one Disney fan critiqued: Looks stunning, but it needs more singing and Mushu the dragon!
The official synopsis states: When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father.
