Things look to be going from bad to worse for Keanu Taylor and his partner Louise (Tilly Keeper).
As Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) starts to stir up trouble, Keanu (Danny Walters) is left worrying that he wont be able to support his loved ones as his funds are running low.
With money being a major problem in his life, he decides to take on a dodgy job for Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
Hopping into a stolen car, Keanu begins his job, but is suddenly hounded by police – forcing him to flee.
As he drives off, the struggling father starts to have doubts and eventually pulls over to talk to the officers.
However, they soon discover that his car is stolen, and the family man sets off on foot as he makes a run for it.
It hasnt been a good year for Keanu, after his loved up relationship with Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) fell apart.

When Phil returned to the Square, Keanu was shipped off to Spain, but soon found his way back after an accident.
He was then put in charge of protecting Louise from Danny Hardcastle (Paul Usher), and instantly fell for her.
However, things got a bit out of hand when he realise Louise was pregnant, but against the odds the pair decided to stick together in hope they could form a strong family unit.
