DUBAI: On the directives of the Saudi Minister of Interior, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif, the Ministrys Undersecretary for Security Forces Affairs, Maj. Gen. Dr. Fahd bin Saeed Al-Qahtani inaugurated the launching of security patrols in Jazans Al-Aridah Province.
“This move comes as a continuation of the efforts exerted by King Salmans Government and his by his Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman to ensure the safety and security of citizens and residents,” Al-Qahtani said, noting that “this is in accordance with the plan adopted by the Minister of Interior to strengthen security efforts in border areas with specialized forces characterized by a good knowledge of the regions terrains to help thwart any drug of weapons smuggling attempts and cross-border infiltration attempts.”
