Spate of attempted break-ins prompts warning from police

POLICE are urging residents to secure their property and vehicles following a spate of attempted break and enter offences across the Central North Police District. Four homes were subject to attempted break-in on Sunday in Walgett, prompting police to encourage home safety and security. Officers from the Central North Police District were notified and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incidents.
