For anyone hoping for a reunion of A Star Is Born proportions were sorry to say Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper arent reuniting for Glastonbury.

While everyone was very keen to see the two actors take to the Glastonbury stage when murmurs of a secret set came about over the weekend, organiser of the whole festival, Emily Eavis, has shut down the palaver.

Before this one gets out of control… the answer is no, that isnt happening, she told disappointed punters earlier on Monday.

She added, probably with a wink: (Although you can watch the amazing A Star Is Born in our Pilton Palais cinema tent at 4.30pm on Friday.)

It came after Radio DJ Edith Bowman reignited rumours that a reunion was on the cards on Sunday when she spoke to Bradley on her podcast.

Bradley previously told the BBC Radio 2 host that he had approached organisers for a slot – for reals this time – after filming for the flick at the famous Worthy Farm celebration in 2017.

Oh and apparently he attends every year, so that does set things up for a reunion in many a fans eyes.

Edith, who regularly hosts Glastonbury coverage for the BBC, told Sunday Brunch viewers this weekend: I may know one [surprise act], I cant possibly say.

On my podcast I had Bradley Cooper talking about A Star Is Born, and when I spoke to him I was like “I just want to see you guys do a gig, you know play it live.”

He was like, “Well, we have been talking to Nick (Dewey) and Emily Eavis about it, wed do the Park Stage” and I said “That would be amazing!” Bradley Cooper and Gaga doing the Park Stage.

Everyone got really into their feels when they figured, after listening to the podcast interview, Bradley said that he and Gaga would maybe just do six songs which would well and truly fill the vacant 40-minute slot.
