Adam Reynolds set to make remarkable return for Rabbitohs

Just three weeks after being diagnosed with a fractured back, Adam Reynolds is set to return for the Rabbitohs on Thursday night.

Reynolds has been absent from the Rabbitohs' last two starts – losses against the Knights and Panthers – after fracturing his back in the early part of Souths' loss to Parramatta three weeks ago.

When coach Wayne Bennett revealed the full extent of his star halfback's injury earlier this month, no firm timeline was in place for a potential return.

Bennett said he would return when the pain had become manageable, and after Reynolds completed full training at Redfern on Monday, James Roberts revealed the halfback would be back for the club's clash with the Tigers at Bankwest Stadium on Thursday.

"We get Reynolds back this week and it will be a lot easier moving the ball around in attack this week," Roberts said.
