Danny Dyers Mick Carter will be left fighting for his life in upcoming EastEnders scenes when a heart attack strikes on the football pitch.

Spoilers have revealed that the Queen Vic landlord will stare death in the face as he referees a childrens kick about with Mitch Baker (played by Roger Griffiths).

On-set pictures show Mick attempt to settle an altercation between Mitch and one of the oppositions dads before dramatically dropping to the floor clutching his chest.

The heated exchange comes about when a foul clearly goes unnoticed but just as Mick walks away from the argument, he collapses and a panicked Mitch runs to his side.

Micks got a lot of stress in his life and hasnt really been taking care of his physical or mental health, a source teased.

Hes running a boozer, juggling being a husband and a dad, working with Mitch coaching the football team, and then theres little Ollies autism assessment.

The insider continued to the Daily Star Sunday: Its all set to contribute to his overall health and well-being in the coming weeks.

Although Mick has cheated death before, his fate is yet to be revealed.

The news of Micks worrying attack comes just days after he realises that wife Linda (Kellie Bright) hasnt been honest with him about their son Ollies health.
