The momentum swung back in Busselton's favour, with Reegan Mrsich and Jed Kemp booting one goal each in the third quarter. Kemp kicked another two in the fourth, before the Hawks stormed home to claim a 11.7 (73) to 11.4 (70) win. Augusta-Margaret River now sits third on the ladder, while Busselton remains two wins outside the top eight. Following a week of ups and downs, Eaton secured the Peter Butcher Memorial Cup with a solid win over reigning premiers Donnybrook at Glen Huon Reserve. Behind by six points at quarter time, the Dons put pressure on the Boomers throughout the second term. Boomers' fans raved when the home side slotted five goals to three in the third. Eaton held the lead in the final term, before going on to celebrate a 11.14 (80) to 8.6 (54) victory. Jarrod Humphries (four goals) and Jake Greenwell (three) starred for the Boomers, while Dons Brett Robinson, Jace Cormack, and Samual Lowrie kicked two majors each. Going from bad to worse, South Bunbury suffered an 83-point loss to Bunbury in their Dale Alcock Homes WA Derby clash at Payne Park. Despite receiving advice from new coach Stephen Bilcich, the Tigers conceded four goals in the first quarter. The Bulldogs slotted five goals to two in the second term before extending their lead to 59 points by three quarter time. Brett Peake (four), Matthew Martin (three), and Dylan Heasman (three) were instrumental in the home side's 17.14 (116) to 4.9 (33) triumph. Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault moved to top spot on the ladder after clipping the Eagles' wings on Saturday. Setting up a slew of chances up forward, the Lions ran out to 16-point lead at the main break. Collie kicked accurately, but failed to prevent HBL from scoring a 12.10 (82) to 8.11 (59) win. Carey Park remains inside the top five following its 8.8 (56) to 8.6 (54) win over bottom-placed Harvey Bulls.
