A charity fundraiser was held at The River hotel late last month, aimed at raising donations and awareness for local cancer charity, River Angels. Hosted by Sunflower Seed Vintage, Banjo & Belle and Sunny & Sahara fashion labels, the Mayflower Fashion Show featured an eclectic range of vintage and original fashion pieces. Models took to the runway in the dazzling outfits, framed by a stunning floral piece created and donated by River Blossoms Florist. Event organisers dubbed the night an "awesome, successful evening" and thanked their sponsors for another community focused fundraiser. River Angels' Lynda Donovan praised the efforts of the organisers as well as the attendees, who contributed to a total of $950 raised on the night.
