Strong show of skills from both sides in Cowaramup

Hawks Navy visited Cowaramup to play the Bulls Gold 9s and 11s teams this week. The 9s game was a tricky one for the Cowtown kids, with the Navy team putting together some great patches of play, resulting in impressive goals. Bulls coach Nic Payne said she was very proud of the Cowaramup kids. Coaches awards went to Isabella, Jake and Noah. Bulls 11s were switched on right from the start, displaying awesome teamwork, great skills, and kicking straight to put their hard work on the scoreboard. Carlin Cheffers kicked things off with the first goal for Bulls, and others to hit the scoreboard included Flynn Anderson, Kai Flynn, Jack Zan and Hamish Murray. Cowaramup had the better of the day but the Hawks never stopped trying. Bulls' coach Mark Jolliffe commented on the way the kids had brought teammates into play, their creativity creative with and without the ball and he said shepherding had been a great feature of the game. 'It was sensational,' he said. Coaches awards went to Jack Zan, Mitch Jolliffe, Cavan Payne and Kai Luttrell.
