Ed Sheeran has surprised fans with the news that hes releasing a brand new album of collaborations, titled No.6 – but hes left us in the dark about exactly whos featuring on the record.

The Shape Of You singer has already teamed up with his pal Justin Bieber on the track I Dont Care, which is currently number one on the UK Charts.

Ed, 28, has also confirmed a collaboration with Chance The Rapper and PNB Rock on the track Cross Me, which is listed as an explicit version.

Technically, No.6 is an EP but frankly, were just thrilled we dont have to wait another four years for new music from the pop crooner.

Announcing his unexpected project, Ed said: Before I was signed in 2011, I made an EP called No.5 Collaborations Project.

Since then, Ive always wanted to do another, so I started No.6 on my laptop when I was on tour last year. Im a huge fan of all the artists Ive collaborated with and its been a lot of fun to make.

Of course he hasnt revealed everything all at once because the tracklist has hidden all the other superstar names featuring on the EP.

However, fans might be able to guess just who Ed has teamed up with based on the song titles, which include Take Me Back To London, Beautiful People, Best Part Of me, Antisocial, 1000 Nights and Remember My Name.

Theres also a track called I Dont Want Your Money but, really, does Ed even need handouts when hes worth an estimated £160 million.

More: Ed Sheeran

Ed released his most recent album, Divide, back in 2017 and of course he dominated the top spot for weeks. But with the album done and dusted and his mammoth world tour wrapped up, Ed clearly had itchy feet and just had to get back in the recording studio.
