Avengers: Endgame has beaten Titanic to become the second highest grossing film of all time, with a whopping $2.189 billion (£1.666 billion).

Marvels beloved new flick has ended James Camerons impressive reign over the top two spots, passing Titanic, which collected $2.187 billion (£1.664 billion) and standing just behind Avatar, which brought in $2.8 billion (£2.1 billion), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The epic conclusion to the 22-film Infinity Saga has been assembling records all over the shop, earning the highest-grossing week of all-time with $562 million (£427 million) at the global box office from Monday to Thursday.
Its just one of five films to pass the $2 billion mark, alongside Star Wars: The Force Awakens and, of course, Avengers: Infinity War.
The Marvel powerhouse is absolutely smashing the competition out of the park and has been setting lots of records in a short space of time.
Domestically the film opened with a record $156.7 million (£121.33 million), including the Thursday previews and beat out previous record holders Star Wars: The Force Awakens, $119 million in 2015 (£92.14 million) and its first part, Avengers: Infinity War $106 million in 2018 (£82.07 million).

Not only are the likes of Captain America and Iron Man breaking records domestically, but theyre also doing it internationally; Endgame broke another record by grossing an estimated $487 million (£377.06 million) at the end of its first Friday, flying past Fast & Furious 8, which racked up $443 million (£343 million), Time reports.
Meanwhile, the movies stars arent doing too badly either, with Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) reportedly raking in more than $75 million (£57 million) for his role in the flick.
