Baccus wins Wanderers player of year award

Tough midfielder Keanu Baccus has been named Western Sydney Wanderers' player of the year with departing teammate Roly Bonevacia has won two other major awards. Emerging 20-year-old Baccus established himself as a permanent part of a team that struggled for consistency and missed the finals. His good club form was rewarded with a callup to the Olyroos squad. Dutchman Bonevacia, who announced on Instagram earlier this week that he had played his last game for the club, won the members and media player of the year awards.
