TWICE have broken their personal record yet again.

The K-pop group are proving to us all that they cant be stopped after releasing their newest video for Fancy on 22 April at 6pm Korean standard time.

Within 24 hours, the music video racked up 39,854,198 views on YouTube and we cant say we are surprised.

The girl groups achievement beats the time they garnered 31.4 million views in 24 hours with their song Yes or Yes in November.

However, the nine-piece have some way to go as of right now if they want to beat their peers.

Right now the current YouTube record sits with fellow K-pop group BTS who achieved 74.6 million views in 24 hours for their music video for Boy With Luv.

But TWICE have a lot to celebrate, as Fancy is currently the K-pop group music video with the fourth highest number of views in 24 hours, after Boy With Luv of course, BLACKPINKs Kill This Love, and BTSs IDOL.

Looks like K-pop is dominating the record holding spots for now.

Last week, BTS smashed another record as they landed a UK number one album with Map Of The Soul: Persona.

While Psys Gangnam Style hit number one in the singles chart back in 2012, no Korean act has done the same on the albums chart, so its a big achievement.

After combined sales of over 10,000 saw them riding high in the midweek sales, they hung onto their lead, nabbing the number one with 26,500 sales.

Amazingly, 68% of the EPs sales in week one were physical sales – meaning fans were purchasing the physical record in their droves as well as streaming.

Map Of The Soul: Persona bumped Billie Eilishs When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? to number two after two weeks at the top, with The Greatest Showman soundtrack, Chemical Brothers No Geography and Tom Walkers What A Time To Be Alive rounding out the top five.

More: K-Pop

This is BTSs fourth record to enter the UK top 40, after the success of the Love Yourself: Trilogy, and in honour of the achievement, J-Hope, V, RM, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook and Jin posed with their Official Charts number one trophy.
