Star Wars fans have been divided by Episode IXs title The Rise Of Skywalker, but director JJ Abrams has revealed why its important.

Describing the movie as having a weird responsibility, JJ continued to ET: It had to be the end of not just three movies, but nine movies, and the idea of having to incorporate the stories that have come before, strangely, is the story of the movie, which is to say its the characters in the film inheriting everything thats come before in previous generations.
