Anonymous donor buys new car for woman, 20, bringing up siblings after parents died

A 20-year-old woman who is raising her five younger siblings after they lost their parents to cancer has been gifted a new car.

A group of anonymous donors from their local community in Florida in the US bought the Nissan Versa for the family after hearing about their situation, according to the Orange County Sheriffs Office.

Samantha Rodriguez became the caretaker for her younger siblings after the death of their parents.

In a video posted to Twitter by the police force, Samantha thanked the contributors who had donated towards the cost of the car.

After being told about the gift, she said: Wow, Im in shock, guys. Thank you guys so much, you dont know how much this means to us and it is such a big help.

Doing everything on my own is very hard but I am so glad to have people like you guys in my life.

A post on the police forces Facebook page read: 20-year-old Samantha Rodriguez is an inspiration.
