Data released from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade shows a town-by-town breakdown of just how many applications were made. By far the most number of passport applications came from residents in Orange with 3106 during the 12-month period. Mudgee was not too far behind, with 2850 residents applying for a passport last year. Story continues under graph This was followed by Wellington (2820 people), Bathurst (2654) and Dubbo (2430).
