As we approach the pointy end of waiting for Avengers: Endgame to land on our screens, were basically clutching at straws at what can happen in this wacky world.
With many a theory popping up each and every day that will probably go nowhere in explaining the actual finale of Endgame when it hits cinemas in a little over a week, there is one that has done the rounds recently.
Punters have dredged up the idea that Scott Lang, as the mighty bug Ant-Man, will shrink himself to save the world…
By flying up Thanoss butt and basically exploding the mad Titan from the inside out.
Similar ones also popped up recently that suggested the Hulk will wear Ant-Mans suit to shrink himself down and explode in Thanoss urethra. Yep, this is what people think about.
Its a grisly way to end the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and while were not about to discount anything at this point in time, its probably not going to happen.

Still, its tickling the actual bosses of Endgame, who have already decided just how Thanos will be defeated (because he totally will. He has to be. Right?).
Executive Producer Trinh Tran has seen your theories and while she admits there are some that come close to revealing the ending of the anticipated film, this isnt one of them.
One I recently read has been interesting, I wont say much but it involved Thanos and Ant-Man, Trinh told Metro.co.uk at the Endgame fan event on Wednesday – without actually naming the butt theory. But(t) we totally know thats what shes talking about.
Its crazy, but its a lot of fun to see how people are coming up with crazy theories.
Just how close has the fandom come to guessing the finale, we query?
I think theres always theories that are far out there and ones where youre like “okay, youre getting into the realm”, she said.
There are ones closer than others, I guess you could say.
One such theory that also isnt really looking likely is a potential romance between Thor and Captain Marvel, with actor Chris Hemsworth pouring cold water on the idea we may see some lurve this time around.

I dont really think we have time for a love story in this particular film.
No matter about that, the past 10 years and 22 films have been working towards this fantastic ending and were not going to let a few spoiled theories get in the way, right?
Tran continued on the sleepless nights that have been put in to make sure the final three-hour film (yes, three dang hours) is absolutely perfect.
