"Everyone has had such a great time." Students were broken in to stage groups and undertook a variety of activities including art, sport, STEM, music and dance. In the afternoons the children are given free time to participate in a number of activities such as craft and touch football, in the evenings they also held a movie night, games night and disco with a showcase on the Friday morning for families to display what they have learned. Uniting Church groups from Gordon/Pymble, Broken Hill, Narromine and Nyngan helped cater the entire event, volunteering their time. Ms Lewis thanked all the volunteers from the Uniting Church, students and teachers from the Sydney schools and the Bogan Shire Council for their support and assistance. "The Uniting Church volunteers have done an awesome job feeding us, everything has been home baked with love." "The Bogan Shire Council are fantastic, they prepared the venue for us, cleaned the pavilion, and helped us with anything else we needed."
