A teenage girl secretly delivered her newborn son in her familys bathroom moments before strangling the baby with her bare hands, police say.
Jada McClain, 18, allegedly killed the infant in her Neptune, New Jersey home, then handed the body over to the childs father, Quaimere Mohammed, 19, who threw the remains in a dumpster.
McClain admitted that she pressed down on the newborns tiny chest with both hands until he stopped breathing minutes after she secretly birthed the child on a toilet at her parents home on March 29, prosecutors say.
She disclosed that the baby was breathing and that her intention was to stop her baby from breathing, police said, according to ABC News.
After the alleged murder, security video captured Mohammed throwing a blue trash bag into an garbage bin at an apartment complex in nearby Asbury Park. Police say the newborn was inside the bag, wrapped in a blanket.

McClain reportedly sent a friend photos of the blue and purple infant, which she took in the bedroom, according to the police affidavit. Authorities said she complained to the same friend about the pain she experienced while delivering the baby by herself while sitting on the toilet at her parents house.

The unidentified female friend later contacted Asbury Park police and told them about her conversation with McClain, who later confessed after she was arrested on Thursday.
Just days before the doomed child was born, McClain talked about killing the baby with Mohammed.
