Is Rana dead or is she actually alive and stalking Carla Connor in Coronation Street?

Carla Connors certainly been going through it lately in Corrie, as the collapse of the factory roof has led to people in Weatherfield turning on her in droves.

After she revealed her negligent role in the factory roof collapse that caused Ranas death, even members of Carlas (Alison King) own family have shunned her.

On top of that, Carla has begun receiving cruel messages from Ranas number, telling her that she destroys everything she touches.

Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), who has stood by Carla, has sworn revenge on whoever it is whos toying with her, but this psychological warfare is setting the stage for a psychosis storyline which will see Carla utterly lose control of her life.

So who is the person messaging Carla from Ranas number? Could Rana really be back from the dead?

Rana was seen dying when the factory roof collapsed on her last month in Corrie and unless soap bosses are capable of bringing the dead back to life, shes most definitely not live and kicking. This isnt Game Of Thrones, after all.

If Rana were somehow alive, however, she would have more reason than anyone to psychologically torture Carla.

After all, Carla was the one who neglected to fix the factory roof which ended up collapsing onto Rana and claiming her life – or at least that was how it seemed at the time. But was that really the reason behind the roof collapse?

Soap fans have since been watching as Carla has been tortured with taunting messages from Ranas number.

But given we know Rana is definitely dead, its clear these messages arent coming from her, despite a confused Carla believing they could be.

So who is stalking Carla via these texts?
