Who did Jenna Coleman play in Emmerdale?
Jenna played Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale for around four years, making her first appearing in June 2005.
It was her first acting job as she had secured the role before she had a chance to attend drama school, which she planned to do until she was offered the part.
She received a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2006 British Soap Awards for her portrayal of the character, as well as a Most Popular Newcomer nomination at the National Television Awards.
When she is introduced in the soap she stays with her uncle Ashley (played by John Middleton), and ends up having difficulties at school, getting suspended and later expelled.
