Rapids Landing community gets colourful for fun | Photos

It was a colourful day of fun for the students, staff and families of Rapids Landing Primary School last week. The Parents & Citizens Association organised the school's first 'Colour Run' on Saturday March 30, where the school community gathered on the oval to take part in the fun run. Community spirit was alive and well as local businesses like Yahava Coffee, Stocker Preston, Mocean Fitness, the Lester Group and IGA made generous donations to make the fundraising component of the day an even greater success. The Margaret River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service also turned up with a fire truck to make the day extra special, while individuals from the community assisted in various stalls even where they didn't have kids attending the school themselves. The day was a great success for the school in bringing the community together and fun was had by all, with participation from Kindy students all the way up to Year 6 as well as their family and friends. Rapids Landing PS is currently fundraising for Stage 2 of the campus Nature Playground project.
