Sporting success for Karridale Primary’s Emus
The Boomers and The Emus faced off at Karridale Primary School for the school's annual sports day on Tuesday and Thursday last week, with The Boomers winning the competition by 33 points. After two days of competition The Boomers ended with 390 points and The Emus on 423 points. Karridale PS Principal Fiona Cormack said the annual sports day was a great community gathering. "The students performed extremely well individually and in the team events-showing great sportsmanship," she said. "Our school, established in 1883, has a long history. We have great connections in the community and events like our sports day brings everyone together.
