It’s been a big week in art … with Jim Pavlidis

Life has been tough for John Worsfold recently, but thankfully in footy youre always just one win away from happiness.

After a disastrous couple of weeks, the Bombers kick-started their season with victory over Melbourne, bringing with it some temporary relief for their besieged coach.

Sadly for some artists, redemption is not as easily won. Laurence Stephen Lowrys mum never hid her disappointment that her clumsy son was not a girl and his father, who Lowry called a cold fish, was an introvert who didnt appear to enjoy anything.
