Viewers may have just seen the creation of Coronation Streets latest power couple as Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) finally got together.
And boy was it cute.
Theres been friction between the two since things didnt work out last time, with the pair tip-toeing around each other whenever they crossed paths. But they finally both took the bull by the horns, with a little push from Summer and Rita, and decided to give their relationship a go.
Paul started his new paper round for the Kabin and was embarrassed at having such a job at his age. When he bumped into Billy he wasnt made to feel any better as Billy got all awkward and instead of making hilarious bants he just spewed accidental insults and embarrassed Paul further.
After a berating from Summer, Billy decided on another plan.
Roping in Rita, he pretended to be the new paper boy and Rita asked Paul to train him. When he realised it was Billy, the two laughed about it then headed off to bond while dishing out a stack of tabloids.
As they chatted away, Paul then made his move, inviting Billy for a drink.

The two got cozy in the Rovers, where Paul finally played his card.
He asked Billy that though he might not be around much longer: Do you fancy some old fashioned, getting to know you, hearts and flowers dating? OF COURSE HE DOES!
