Theres a brand new face set to join the ranks of Emmerdale village – but the show is remaining tight lipped over who he is. However, fans can be assured that this is a character who is bound to cause waves in the soap.
As part of a video teaser for Earth Hour, Emmerdale social channels posted a video showing what the characters get up to in the dark. For Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), its a simple snooze in the dark while for Kim Tate (Claire King) and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) its an intense game of chess.
For the women at Tug Ghyll, its an intense workout/reading session/a chance for some wine while for Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) its a workout of a different kind. Yeah, use your imaginations guys.

However, at the very end, we were introduced to an unfamiliar face who was enjoying a pint in the Woolpack. But no clues have been given as to his identity. So who is this brooding newcomer? Whispers reach us that viewers will be in for an interesting reveal but so far, its a bit of a guessing game.
Perhaps its a re-cast – are Emmerdale about to deliver a harsh blow to poor Adam Thomas? We jest, we jest.
