Mason Cox and Dylan Grimes cop one match suspensions
Collingwood have been dealt a severe blow ahead of their grand final rematch against West Coast in round three after the MRO decided to suspend tall forward Mason Cox for one match.
Cox was charged with rough conduct in relation to an incident involving Richmond defender Dylan Grimes and offered the one match suspension.
The Magpies will have the opportunity to consider whether to appeal the finding with clubs only risking a fine if they take an MRO decision to the tribunal.
As predicted the Tigers also lost defender Dylan Grimes after he was also suspended for a game for striking Magpie forward Jamie Elliott to the head in the final quarter.
Grimes' elbow appeared to connect with Elliott's head with just four minutes of the game remaining when he lunged at the Collingwood goalkicker as he snapped the ball back from the boundary.

Both players' absence will be felt if they miss next week's game with the Tigers still reeling from losing All-Australian pair Alex Rance and Jack Riewoldt.
Riewoldt will miss four weeks after hurting his wrist while Rance suffered a season ending knee injury last week.
