”Killer” dad bought gallon of acid days after “murdered” son 8, was last seen alive

Police fear they will never find the body of a missing child after revealing his murder suspect dad bought over a gallon of acid.

Bryce McIntosh, 32, reportedly purchased four gallons of muriatic acid, a 128 ounce bottle of drain cleaner as well as a 32 ounce bottle of sulfuric acid drain opener on March 4.

That was two days after his alleged victim, Noah McIntosh, was last seen alive by his mother Jillian Godfrey after bringing him to his dads house in Corona, California.

Announcing a first-degree murder charge at a press conference Thursday, Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin said his department has experience trying no-body homicide.

The prosecutor continued: If we have to, we will try this as a no-body homicide.

Explaining the charge, Hestrin also said: Im still hopeful that investigators are going to locate (Noahs remains)

We are very confident that its a homicide case. We are very confident that the individual that weve charged is responsible for Noahs death.

During multiple trips to various stores on March 4, McIntosh is also said to have bought bolt cutters, a 32-gallon plastic trash can and two further bottles of drain cleaner.

McIntosh reportedly searched online for what kind of plastic can stand uriatic (sic) acid? as well as the Normal heart rate for an 8 year old when they are running.

According to The Press-Enterprise, he made further searches for What exactly is sulfuric acid, and researched a substance called sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, which can be used to liquify dead bodies.

Detectives used cellphone data to search an unincorporated area of wasteground on March 16, where they found a trash can like the one McIntosh allegedly searched for.

They also discovered a piece of paper with Noah M written on it, several purple latex gloves as well as parts of a blender.

The trash can and residue found in a plastic bag both tested positive for blood, although it has not yet been linked to Noah.
