Another week, another match without Cooper Cronk for Chooks fans. The Roosters will be without their star playmaker for tonight's clash against the Eels.
Cronk is yet to fully recover from a hamstring strain which ruled him out of the 26-18 win over Manly in driving rain at Brookvale Oval.

"I think it was today a week ago [that he was injured], so it was a week injury, so it was pretty tight," Roosters coach Trent Robinson said. "He's running well but it's finishing off that top end and he'll get that in the next few days – Sunday, Monday."
Robinson would not be drawn on whether Lachlan Lam would start in place of Cronk or whether Latrell Mitchell would shift to five-eighth, as he did against the Sea Eagles. Jake Friend has been cleared to play.

The Roosters may be the victims of a late out for the second successive week but their opponents tonight, the Eels, are expected to go into the match unchanged.
In the early Friday match, the Raiders will be missing halfback Aidan Sezer with a torn oblique. He will be replaced by Sam Williams.
The Knights are not expected to make any late changes. Newcastle were dealt a blow on Thursday when Connor Watson was revealed to have suffered an MCL sprain. The club is hopeful he will play next week but Watson's absence will not see Kalyn Ponga return to fullback.
News that Tom Trbojevic is set to start for the Sea Eagles is sure to bring a smile to the face of Manly fans.
Cowboys coach Paul Green insists Michael Morgan will be fit and firing for their clash with the Sharks. Morgan appeared to be in plenty of pain when clutching at his shoulder during his team's last start loss to the Broncos.
Both Nene Macdonald and John Asiata will play after passing the required concussion protocols.
Each of Matt Moylan, Sosaia Feki and Jayden Brailey have been cleared to play for the Sharks despite sitting out different parts of training throughout the week.
Feki and Moylan were nursing knee complaints, while Brailey suffered a head knock against the Titans. Read More – Source
