Pedophile molested dementia patient, 83, after going to hospital to collect friend

A pedophile sexually assaulted an 83 year-old dementia sufferer after going to hospital to pick up a friend, police claim.

Thomas Pierson, 58, denied attacking the woman at a court hearing Monday, despite prosecutors claiming he had walked into the frail womans room and molested her in December 2018.

They say a nurse who was watching a video surveillance camera feed saw Pierson attack the woman at the Inspira Medical Center in Bridgeton, New Jersey just before Christmas last year.

Pierson is said to have arrived at the hospital to pick up a friend from a different room when he struck.

After the nurse witnessed the alleged assault, security were summoned, with guards holding Pierson until police arrived, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
