"The Songs and Tales of Angry Old Men" features more than 20 great songs interwoven with tales that reveal surprising and unknown stories behind the music. Arts Margaret River general manager Andrew Frith said that the Janis Joplin show, presented in June 2018 in Margaret River, was a hit for local fans. "Arts Margaret River held the show at The River due to the Cultural Centre being closed for renovation and it was a great success," Mr Frith said. "Everyone knew all the words to the songs and the old film footage and stories that were part of the show added a new dimension. "As soon as the audience saw the Songs and Tales of Angry Old Men promoted at the show, they wanted to know when it was coming to Margaret River. "Now that we've brought it to town we hope to see the Janis Joplin crowd plus many more at the new Margaret River HEART to see the show," he said. The Songs and Tales of Angry Old Men will be led by Jeremy Edwards and Matt Ross performing vocals and guitar; supported by Wayne Kellett (bass and vocals), Di Solomon (keys and vocals) and George Brugmans (drums).
