Livestock recovered, firearm seized from property near Brewarrina

Police are appealing for information after sheep were recovered from a property near Brewarrina yesterday. After receiving information from the public, Rural Crime Investigators executed a search warrant at a Gongolgon property, about 65 kilometres south of Brewarrina, just after 8am on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Officers mustered 64 sheep that are believed to have been stolen, after ear tags had been removed and replaced and new ear markings branded. An unregistered firearm and ammunition was also seized.
