Well, we knew he was a bit of a sneaky rat but scheming con man Duncan is about to come undone as Coronation Street has now confirmed the previously speculated twist that his apparently dead wife is actually alive.

When Gina Seddon goes digging for information in order to secure the release of her wrongly jailed sister Sally Metcalfe, she follows Duncan to a payphone he has used and soon makes a shocking discovery that could change everything.

This leads Tim to scuffle with Duncan as he determines to get a confession out of him but, during the clash, Duncan steps out into the road to avoid a blow from Tim and is knocked down by a car.

With Tim now on a mission, can he prove that Duncan is a con man after all? Later, with Tim and Sophie distracted, the last role of the dice is down to Gina. Will she be able to save the day?

Whether or not this is enough to get Sally out of her nightmare at last remains to be seen but even if she does return to Weatherfield, everything has changed for her. Can she ever forgive Tim for doubting her and going off the rails – and will she be able to look her deceptive sibling Gina in the eye ever again after her betrayal?
