Gary Oldman has revealed he still plans to revisit Winston Churchill in a new film or TV series.
Nearly 12 months after he first admitted he was planning to adapt a short story – The Dream – once written by the former British prime minister for the stage, the Oscar winner has said that he is keen to go further, and that he would consider a movie or something on teleivison.
Ive only scratched the surface. I think that theres another chapter here, said Oldman to BBC Radio 4s Today Show.

Oldman played the wartime leader in the acclaimed 2017 film Darkest Hour, taking home an Academy Award for the role.
Its [about] the ghost of his father, Randolph, who visits him in his studio at Chartwell [Churchills country residence], revealed Oldman of the 1947 book called The Dream in February 2018.

Its two people, not an expensive thing to do. It might be something Ill try and get on its feet. I long to go back [to the stage]. Itll be quite terrifying, Im sure, after 20 years.

Oldman would have to sit back in the make up chair for long hours to transforms himself into Churchill for any new role as the former prime minister.
He added at the time that there could be [a sequel] because at the end of the war, theres the summit with Stalin and [Roosevelt]. Roosevelts a great character; hes on his way out. So maybe.
