Friction looks set to continue growing between Western Sydney and its active supporter base after a Red and Black Bloc member was banned from ANZ Stadium on Wednesday.
The A-League club confirmed a fan was handed an undisclosed ban from Sydney Olympic Park venues during their 2-0 loss to Melbourne City.

It came after frustrated Wanderers supporters turned on their players during and after the defeat, booing Markus Babbel's side as they disappeared up the players' tunnel.
The RBB was also noticeably empty for most of the second half and the supporter group released a statement not long after the loss, which left them with just two wins from their opening 10 matches.

"The performance on the field tonight was nothing short of disgusting," the statement read.
"This is something we are unfortunately getting accustomed to and these performances arent (sic) what the members of this club deserve.
"At half-time some of the members approached the tunnel to show their discontent with the team's performance, which is within the right of every paying member.
"These members were handed bans and escorted out. This was the final straw in a league where fans are put last and in a club where we are not represented appropriately."
Babbel empathised with the locals after the match but found positivity in an improved second-half effort despite failing to take advantage of a 10-man City team and a penalty, which was saved by an inspired Eugene Galekovic.
"What will you say, (the fans) want to see that we win," Babbel said.
"That's the thing. If you're 2-0 down at halftime, of course they're not clapping their hands and very euphoric. This is normal. Europe is exactly the same."

Babbel was at a loss to explain his team's lack of energy in the first half and was again left to bemoan a dominant second half that bore no fruit.
The Wanderers had 17 total shots to City's seven.
"This is not the first time that we can't score. This is a big problem in our team. The reaction was good, but you work so hard, you do so many things, then you have to score," he said.
The loss leaves the Wanderers in eighth spot, six points adrift of sixth-placed Wellington following their 1-1 all draw with Melbourne Victory at the start of round nine.
The Victory remain in second spot but are only ahead of Sydney FC on goal difference after the Sky Blues edged a Brisbane side that couldn't bounce back from John Aloisi's resignation.
Adam Le Fondre scored both goals in the 2-1 win to go three ahead in the golden boot.
In other matches, former Socceroos representative Craig Goodwin scored the extra-time winner in Adelaide's 2-1 win over Newcastle and Perth thrashed Central Coast 4-1.
The Glory's win, which consolidated top spot on the ladder, was marred by a 40-minute stoppage to replace a snapped goalpost with portable training goals.
