Cain is beaten after Mattys homophobic attack in Emmerdale
Matty is beaten and humiliated in a homophobic attack on New Years Day, so Cain decides to get his own back on the attacker. He confronts Isaac, whos also Mattys ex, but when it comes to it hes so haunted by Joe that he freaks out. His hesitation gives Isaac the time to gain the upper hand, and his friends encircle Cain to beat him within an inch of his life. Hes left battered, bruised and barely alive.

Mary finally tracks down Jude in Coronation Street
After weeks of searching and being forced to identify a dead body, Mary finally finds Jude – alive. But she quickly learns hes up to his old tricks when she discovers hes been going under a false name and pretending hes a doctor. Wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt she hands him money and says shell be waiting for him, but will he take the cash and run?
