Bird Box has had everyone gripped over the Christmas holidays with its creepy storyline and its stellar cast.

But theres one TV star hidden in the thriller that you may have missed.

Catfish star Nev Schulman has a cameo in the Netflix horror smash, but if you blinked (or happened to be wearing a blindfold), you may have missed it.

Nev – the host of the MTV series and star of the original Catfish documentary – pointed out his appearance on Instagram when he noticed two people in the picture being painted by Sandra Bullocks character Malorie looked rather familiar.

The 34-year-old, who is married to Laura Pelongo, wrote: #BirdBox was scary and all, but the creepiest part is how much the couple in Sandra Bullocks painting looks like me and Laura.

Zoom in, and youll see a couple at the table that are the spitting image of Nev and Laura…

… Because it is them.

Sadly, Sandra didnt actually paint that piece of art; the woman behind it is Lily Morris, a friend of Nev and Lauras who asked them to pose for the piece.

Nev fessed up in a second Instagram post: Ok ok. We actually know the artist (@lilyjmorris) who did the paintings for #BirdBox and posed for her ? check out her awesome art!

Lily herself was just as excited, writing on Instagram: Sandra and Sarah talking about my work… Bird Box. Ballistically enthusiastic about this.

Bird Box sees Sandra Bullock play Malorie, a woman who attempts to survive alongside two unnamed children as supernatural entities threaten their lives.

Malorie, Boy and Girl must keep their blindfolds on or run the risk of seeing the demons take on their worst fears, regrets and losses, causing them to kill themselves.

The film boasts a stellar cast including Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Trevante Rhodes, John Malkovich and Danielle Macdonald, and has become Netflixs biggest film in its opening week, with the streaming service claiming that 45 million accounts streamed Bird Box in the first seven days.
