Lady Gaga is about to embark on her Las Vegas residency, however its said that production for the show has been a bit of a challenge for the star.

The 32-year-old singer will be putting on a two-part residency in Sin City, which will last for the entirety of 2019.

However, her tour manager Bobby Campbell has revealed that scaling down for a theatre has proved difficult.

He told Billboard: The past eight years of her life has been touring the world in stadiums and arenas. Scaling down to a theatre and living with the production limitations of a smaller space isnt easy.

I think fans will be really excited by what weve come up with, but it certainly hasnt come without its challenges.

The show will be taking place at Park Theatre, which has the capacity of 5,200 – perfect for Gagas stripped down set-list.

But despite the Marry The Night songstress 12 month score, Live Nation Las Vegas president Kurt Melien revealed the hype surrounding residencies is a generally new phenomenon.

That wasnt the case for years, Kurt said before adding: Residencies are now the dominant form of entertainment.

The idea that the biggest artist on the planet is doing Vegas sends a message to the world that this is the thing to do.

Quite the statement, but who are we to argue, as the singer come actress has just broken onto the movie scene and has already been nominated for two Golden Globes for her role in A Star Is Born.
