The Slaters appear to have a dead body on their hands in EastEnders and theyve got some quick thinking to do.
As all of the truths came pouring out, Alfie turned on Kat, spewing words so vicious that Hayley jumped to her defence. But her well-meaning actions caused a catastrophic turn of events, that could change the Slaters futures forever. As when she violently pushed Alfie away from Kat, she accidentally shoved him down the stairs. While her intentions were gallant in saving Kat, in the process she seemed to kill Cherrys dad.
Now Kat has to come to terms with Alfie and Hayleys betrayal, as well as the grief of potentially losing her husband.
The Slaters are left staring at Alfies body lying at the bottom of the stairs and some serious decisions to make.
If they come clean to the police Hayley will be sent down for god knows how long and wont get to see baby Cherry grow up after all. Ironic, given how hard shed tried to give the tot away.

Could Kat offer to take the rap for the young mum? She already screamed at her cheating husband that shed happily do time for him. Perhaps shed be happy to take up residence in the local prison in turn for Alfies demise.

Or could the family club together and hide his body? Recent pictures that came to light showed a body being discovered by dog walkers which suggests the Slaters might opt for the latter option, with the body found in a shallow grave wrapped in tarpaulin.
But who will they rope in to help them dispose of the evidence?
