Phil Mitchell gets more than he bargains for when he signs for an unexpected delivery in the Minute Mart in EastEnders.
Phil pops into the shop for a few last minute Christmas bits but end up in a bit of a situation when he and Kim ended up locked in a store cupboard.
And things escalate quickly when Kim suddenly realises shes in labour – with no one around to help except young Phil himself.
Meanwhile, its also the day of the carol concert and Kim is needed in rehearsals. Denise starts to worry when Kim doesnt show up, and after a while decides to find out whats happened to her sibling. She heads over to the Minute Mart to hurry her along but when she arrives to see an ambulance hanging around outside, she fears the worst.
But there really is no need; Phil is a dab hand at fixing motors, scaring the living bejeezus out of anyone who wrongs him, and apparently, midwifery. Having rolled up his sleeves and got involved, Phil helped to safely deliver Kims littleun.

Kim is ecstatic to have her baby in time for Christmas and later returns to the Square full of the joys of motherhood. But Denise knows her too well and senses something is up. Is she struggling without Vincent?
Later, she bumps into Phil to thank him for what he did and invites him for a belated Christmas dinner. Is this an unexpected friendship blossoming?
