EastEnders spoilers: Jessie Wallace reveals all about how Kat Moon discovers Alfies devastating secret
Kat Moon finally learns the truth about the paternity of Hayley Slaters baby and it all comes spilling out on her perfect Christmas Day in EastEnders.
Kat has worked hard to get the entire family together for the celebrations, but her world is set to come crashing down when she finds out Alfie cheated with her own relative and made a baby.
Prior to this shes unsure about whether or not to put her wedding back on because shes not sure she trusts Alfie, and sadly shes proven right when a chain of events leads her to finding out that not only is he Cherrys dad, but she was one of the last to know.
Speaking of the explosive Christmas Day, actress Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Moon, revealed Kats day completely unravels.
Well, it starts off really family orientated and obviously has the absolute chaos of the Slater household as we are all there together, she said. So theres loads of Slater chaos and people being joyful but then, of course, it completely unravels…

She added that Kat reacts in a typical Kat way, which means bad things are in store for Alfie and Hayley, and its Hayley who sets off the chain of events.
It all comes out from the tiniest thing, from the most careless, stupid thing, Jessie said. I dont want to give too much away but its something that Hayley does. But I think what she does is almost a cry for help. But obviously Kat is going to find out and she reacts in the way only Kat can react. She goes crazy!

Jessie explained that Kat is left in utter shock, but yet she is still able to see how it all unfolded, and even partly blames herself.
Its extra betrayal for Alfies wife as shes grown close to Hayley.
Kat loves her to bits, Jessie said. Its all about family with the Slaters and it goes back to when Little Mo was having an affair with Alfie. I remember at the end of that episode Kat confronted her [Little Mo] and there was this huge fight, but Kat decided to side with Little Mo.
Kat even climbed into Little Mos bed so she could cuddle her. Theres that element of Kat that I really love, that family orientated side to her.

But is Kat angry enough to do something stupid?
In the heat of the moment, Kat reacts as youd expect, she said. Shes so angry and upset, theres this whole whirlwind of emotions that shes going through and she just doesnt care. Theres no vision, Kats just so angry and betrayed.
