IN PICTURES: Saudi Crown Prince oversees King Faisal Air Academy graduation

Saudi Arabias Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday oversaw the graduation of the 95th batch of students cadets from the King Faisal Air Academy at the college's headquarters in Riyadh.

The crown prince, who is also Saudi deputy prime minister and minister of defense, was accompanied upon his arrival by Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Badr bin Sultan, Governor of Al Jouf Region, and Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Nayef, Minister of Interior. He was also greeted by Chairman of the General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Commander of the Air Force Prince Turki bin Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of King Faisal Air Academy Air Maj. Gen. Pilot Khalid Al-La'aboun.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the colleges commander spoke during the ceremony of the “loyalty and steadfastness of the air forces and the rest of the branches of the armed forces with high capabilities to match the basic tasks and keep pace with development and modernization in accordance with constructive plans and generous support of good leadership”.

"Here is a group of sons of this benevolent country, honored today to join with the glory and their predecessors armed with knowledge and faith, determined to spend in what is precious and good in order to defend the religion, the king and the homeland. Their brothers from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of the Sudan and the State of Kuwait share in their joy today with their years of achievement and study,” he was quoted as saying.

The graduation speech was delivered by Faisal bin Saleh Asiri, who paid tribute to the Saudi crown prince for honoring the graduation ceremony of the 95th batch.
