Tissues at the ready, guys.

The Domino singer opened up to fans on Instagram about the reasoning behind her new track, which is the only original on her Christmas album, describing it as super special.

”This Christmas Day” ?????❄ lyric video out now. This song is super special to me, Jessie admitted.

This is the only original on my Christmas album. Produced by the incredible @rodneyjerkins and mixed by the unstoppable @jaycenjoshua – Actually the whole inspiration for this album was watching so many people I love lose people they love.

Strangers too. So much pain and hurt and loss this year. I wanted to give the gift of music that lasts forever. The best way I know how to help is through my music. This song is for everyone and anyone who has lost someone they love.

Christmas is a time of fun and celebration and laughter but also a time where we remember those who are no longer with us. I hope this song brings anyone who needs it, a little love and support this Christmas.

I love you. They love you. And they know you love them. Forever and always.

We werent prepared to get this emotional at Christmas, but here we are.
