Azealia Banks drops Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas cover in surprise holiday EP
Azealia Banks has dropped a surprise holiday EP featuring a cover of Judy Garlands Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.
The festive new record also features her version of Frank Loessers What Are You Doing New Years Eve and an original song entitled Icy Colors Change which gives the EP its name.
According to NME, the 212 rapper released a demo of the title track just after Christmas last year.
Earlier this year, Azealia released tracks Anna Wintour and Treasure Island, though she announced the cancellation of her forthcoming album, in July.
The Chasing Time hitmaker took to Instagram to reveal she had called it a day on Fantasea II: The Second Wave, writing: Album is cancelled. I need some time to relax and bounce on dick. Ill release new music when I feel like it…

You do you, boo.
It came shortly after Azealia called out MTVs Wild N Out, claiming she was reduced to tears while appearing on the show.
She wrote beneath a picture of her on stage: I did Wildin out today. There were tons of pre-planned colorist jokes and of course…cry baby cried [sic].
Host Nick Cannon responded to the claims by suggesting Azealia had caused the problems herself, writing: Dont you hate when you create your own storms but forget your umbrella??
He also said that he was praying for the songstress, to which she fired back with: Pray for your immune system Nick. Dont pray for me, referencing the rappers battle with lupus.
Ouch.

Its been an eventful year for the Azealia, 27, who recently reignited her campaign against Beyonce after claiming the pop superstar had stolen choreography from other artists.
2018 also saw her even almost get into a physical fight with Lana Del Rey, while last month she spilled the actual tea over Iggy Azaleas Instagram ads.
