Emmerdales Christmas trailer reveals theres drama in the Dales this Christmas as Jessie Grant attempts to pull off the biggest surprise – a secret wedding to Marlon Dingle. Time to don our hats, just not the one Marlon vomited in.
As exciting as a Christmas wedding might sound, its not all first dances and wedding cake as Jessies plan to spring it on him goes completely awry with a question hanging over whether or not it will even go ahead once he finds out the truth.
In the new trailer, Jessie tries to keep everything a secret, but Marlon gets dangerously close to the truth and Lydia is forced to tell him the wedding is for her and Sam. The two lads head off to celebrate with a few bevvies, and Marlon tells Sam hes the one set to be a surprise groom.

Sam is absolutely ecstatic, punching the air in excitement at the thought of his own impending nuptials. Impending bitter disappointment more like.
The road to the big day is a bumpy one, with the two getting stranded in the countryside in the back of a beer van and having to try and make their way back to the village in their hungover states – Marlons in such a bad way he ends up vomming into a hat.
They arrive at the church to discover the truth and the shock is too much for Marlon – he collapses. Will the wedding go ahead? And how will Sam take the news its not him getting married?
Elsewhere, it looks like a happy Christmas for Robron, Nicola and Jimmy, and a cosy family meal for Maya and David at first glance, but with Jacob around clinging onto a secret its not likely to end with a friendly game of Charades and a mince pie. Will Davids Christmas surprise be finding out his teenage son kissed his girlfriend?
