Christmas is fast approaching in Holby City as well as in real life, and things are getting festive with plans being made and Secret Santa gifts being exchanged. Not everyone is in the party mood, though. Nicky is hungover after a night out that turns out to have been a huge mistake. Sacha is having a bad day as his depression threatens to take hold again and Serena is thinking about the people shell be missing at Christmas.
Meanwhile Dominic and Lofty are all set for their honeymoon, but then Loftys gran is brought into the hospital. Here are all the spoilers to look out for.
1. Nicky finds herself in a compromising situation when a patient turns out to be the man she slept with the night before. Things take a sinister turn when she realises her patients connection to a man who is critically ill on AAU, and finds out how desperate he is to hide the truth. With her reputation and career on the line, will Nicky do the right thing?

2. Serena isnt looking forward to Christmas as it contains too many memories for her. Leah and Jason help her to focus on whats most important.
3. Sacha gets a surprise visitor when his daughter Beka (played by Bob Barretts daughter Francesca) turns up. Sacha has been hiding his depression from his family, but Hanssen encourages him to open up. Will he find the courage to tell his daughter how hes been feeling?
4. Holby is still without a CEO, and there seems to be only one man who fits the job – Henrik Hanssen. But can his friends and colleagues convince him to put the tragedies of the past year behind him and step up to the role?
5. Lofty and Dominic are excited to be working their last shift before they jet away on honeymoon. Their plans are thrown up in the air when Loftys gran Sheilagh is brought into the hospital. Will they still be able to go on their trip? And is Sheilagh going to be okay?
6. Its Leah Faulkners last day at Holby City, but there may be some unfinished business between her and Serena before she goes.
7. Everyone is giving each other Secret Santa gifts, but some Santas are more secret than others.
