Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Margaret River Distilling Company, which has just launched its first Snow Globe onsite at the Distillery. Designed to bring a touch of white Christmas to the region, the Snow Globe is an inflatable dome filled with faux-snow for children to play in at their leisure, although a company spokesperson said the globe was definitely ready for some adults to enjoy the snow. The Snow Globe launched Monday December 17, at the Distillery headquarters on Carters Road and is running for a limited time only across the festive season. It can fit approximately 10 people at a time and according to the venue, is the perfect way to keep kids entertained while parents treat themselves to a tasting or two in the tasting room. Margaret River Distilling Co is also bringing the region a touch of the Christmas spirit with its latest Christmas Gin, available at the cellar door now. “We firmly believe this years Christmas Gin is our best yet. Its light and refreshing and made to reflect the perfect elements of an Australian summer. “Its made from juniper, quandong, and summer fruits, including fig, apple and berries, with a backing of citrus. Perfect for sipping on with family and friends throughout the hot, Aussie summer.” This year the Distilling Co have packaged the Giniversity Christmas Gin with a Giniversity tote bag and a custom keyring. “With whisky, gin, casual food, and a Christmas themed play zone at your disposal, Margaret River Distilling Co has something to offer the whole family across the school holidays and Christmas period. “Due to high demand from customers, we're reallocating a small segment of our 2018 Giniversity Christmas Gin to online sales.” The festive Giniversity packs are available at the cellar door and online at www.distillery.com.au Sessions in the Snow Globe are running from 11am to 2pm, 7 days a week and cost $2 per person.
