10 soap spoilers: Big EastEnders return, Coronation Street betrayal, Emmerdale confession, Hollyoaks murder

While you might be starting to wind down for Christmas, the soaps certainly arent winding down the drama and there are some huge moments ahead this week not to be missed. Its the return weve all been waiting for in EastEnders this week – Mick Carter is back after Lindas epic effort last week, and hes got one heck of a big score to settle.

Theres heartbreak in store for Coronation Street when Kate goes way, way too far and is left to deal with the consequences of her own actions, while Jacob is left crushed by Mayas choice of words in Emmerdale.

And Hollyoaks will have yet another murder victim and well catch a glimpse of her first ever kill – and the revelation will send shockwaves through the McQueen family, while Mandys devastating news will do the same to hers.

Kate cheats on Rana in Coronation Street

Kate is gutted when Robert pulls out of their deal with no warning, he will no longer be her donor because Michelle now wants his child. Kate goes to see Adam to drown her sorrows, and the pair share a bottle of scotch. But as she realises the opportunity that lies in front of her she pounces, and kisses him passionately. Has she found her new donor? What will Rana do when she finds out?

Mick is back with revenge on his mind

Mick is back in the Square and struggling to adjust to normality having spent weeks behind bars. But with Stuart still happily walking around hes got unfinished business, and Mick plots his revenge.

Maya turns nasty on Jacob in Emmerdale

Jacob tells Ellis about the older woman hes been seeing, and concerned, Ellis reports back to David and Maya hears. Shes furious at the risk Jacob has taken, and she tells him in no uncertain terms to back off, leaving him heartbroken.

Bredas past is revealed in Hollyoaks

The dastardly Breda is about to strike again, shes determined to rid Hollyoaks village of all of the bad dads, having already offed Russ, Glenn and Carl Costello. But were also taken into a deep look at her past, which will reveal her first and most shocking murder.

Jenny suffers a nasty fall in Coronation Street

Jennys drinking gets out of hand when during a heated argument with Johnny, she ends up missing her step and falling down the stairs. Will she be OK?

Jean is mugged and sparks fly between her and Ian in EastEnders

Jean becomes the victim of a nasty attack when an opportunist tries to mug her for her bag. Luckily Ian is nearby to save the day, her very own knight in shining armour.

Dazs guilt gets him in Emmerdale

Amelia is getting more and more afraid of what will happen to her over the hit and run, and Daz is left feeling beside himself with guilt. He confesses everything to Dan who is disgusted at his lies and insists he comes clean. But will Daz do the right thing?

Alfies in for a shock in EastEnders

The man Kat hit with her bike and left injured in the middle of the road shows up and she quickly scarpers. Concerned, Alfie finds her in the Vic where she confesses what really happened, including what left her in such a state to cause an accident – the fact that Maurice had told her Charlie had known about the abuse. Alfie is left stunned by the revelation.

Tim snogs Gina in Coronation Street

After getting drunk at the Christmas party, Tim decides its only fair he gets to have a fling given that Sally, so he believes, cheated on him with Duncan. As he gets close with Gina and the drink takes its full effect, his inhibitions are lowered enough for him to kiss her.

Mandy and Darren find out about their babys condition

After finally confessing her concerns about the baby to Darren, Mandy convinces him to come with her to the scan. But they are given the heartbreaking news they feared – their baby has Spina Bifida.
