Steve Smith propels Sutherland to T20 final
While Virat Kohli was bringing up his 25th Test century in Perth, Steve Smith has managed to help Sutherland to victory over St George at the SCG in the semi-final of the Sydney Grade T20 competition. Chasing 113, Sutherland were in a bit of trouble at 2-25 but Smith's cool temperament got them over the line. He made an unbeaten 42 off 44 balls, with just two boundaries to his name. Sutherland will play either Sydney University or Penrith in a final later this evening.

Australia's lead is just over a hundred runs now and without stating the bleeding obvious, a wicket now would be very helpful for them. That run-out chance could come back to haunt the home side.
